About The Position

This is a long-term substitute position for a 7th Grade ELA teacher at North Middle School. The assignment begins at the start of the school year, on or about August 17, 2026. Compensation is $165 per day for the first 14 days, with partial days paid hourly. After the 14th day, the rate increases to $246.94 per day. The substitute teacher will act within the substitute handbook, perform the duties of the absent classroom teacher, provide instruction, and manage the learning environment. The position reports to the building principal or designee.

Requirements

• Current Iowa License (teaching or substitute teaching)
