About The Position

This is a long-term substitute position for Special Education at Dorothy Dodd Elementary, running approximately from October 15, 2026, to February 26, 2027. The role involves developing and supporting curriculum, facilitating instruction, and evaluating student progress. The teacher will collaborate with other professionals, administrators, parents, and counselors regarding student needs and district initiatives.

Requirements

• Current Minnesota teaching license required and/or the ability to obtain in the assigned area of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Developing and supporting curriculum in assigned instructional subjects.
• Facilitating instruction.
• Evaluating and assessing student progress against instructional outcomes and objectives.
• Participating and collaborating with other instructional professionals, administrators, parents, counselors, and other district personnel concerning student needs, issues, and district learning initiatives, curriculum, and building issues.
