This is a long-term substitute position for a Resource Teacher at Brooklyn STEM Academy MSD of Martinsville. The mission of the school is to work together, challenge and inspire children through rich experiences, empowering them to achieve success while making positive contributions to the world.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans
• Assess student performance and progress
• Maintain effective classroom management and a positive learning environment
• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and parents
• Participate in professional development and school events
• Remain emotionally stable, exercise sound judgment, and maintain professional composure in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple responsibilities and responding appropriately to student needs and unexpected situations.
