Long-Term Live-In Caregiver
About The Position
Comfort Keepers is seeking experienced Live-In Caregivers to join our caregiver team and be considered for future live-in assignments throughout Maryland’s Mid-Shore area. While we do not have an immediate live-in case available at this time, we are looking for qualified caregivers who have previous caregiving experience and would like to complete our hiring process now so they can be considered as opportunities become available. Becoming part of our caregiver team now gives you the opportunity to complete the hiring process before a live-in case becomes available. When an appropriate assignment opens, qualified caregivers who are already in our system can be contacted regarding the opportunity.
Requirements
- Previous caregiving or home care experience required
- Dependable, compassionate, and reliable
- Comfortable providing extended/live-in care
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Current auto insurance
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to successfully complete required background screening
- Flexibility to accept live-in assignments as they become available
- Ability to provide dependable one-on-one care in a client’s home
Responsibilities

- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping
- Companionship and emotional support
- Mobility and transfer assistance
- Medication reminders
- Maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment
- Other client-specific care needs
