Logistics Work Lead (1st Shift)

We are looking for someone to work with leadership to manage and execute department plans for shipping and receiving of manufactured products. This role requires someone who is goal-oriented, can keep their team focused on the job and department goals, and has team management skills to collaborate across departments. The ideal candidate will also be safety-oriented.
Requirements
- 3+ years of Shipping and Receiving leadership experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel and Teams
- Ability to drive a forklift, use a pallet jack and lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Proficiency in using hand tools and operating machinery
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (logistics, supply chain, etc.) or equivalent work experience
Responsibilities
- Executing the Production Plan set by Manager
- Supervise a team of up to 10 employees
- Read and interpret standard production drawings and job specifications
- Set up shipping lanes
- Manage clean and orderly work area
- Manage safety of all employees and machine usage
