About The Position

The Logistics & Trade Compliance team is responsible for managing international flow of products, ensuring compliance with U.S. Customs and Participating Government Agency (PGA) regulations, and driving continuously improvements in logistics and trade compliance processes. The Logistics & Trade Compliance Manager leads logistics operations, customs compliance programs, service provider relationships, and team performance while fostering operational excellence, innovation, and process improvements. This role supports efficient and compliant supply chain operation, effective cost management, and the delivery of high service standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, and trade compliance operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • U.S Customs Broker License required.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations, HTS classification, import operations, and PGA requirements including FDA, USDA, and U.S. Fish & Wildlife service regulations.
  • Experience managing customs brokers, carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics service providers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter professional with demonstrated experience coaching teams, managing performance, driving accountability, and collaborating cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily international logistics and trade compliance operations to ensure efficient product flow and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead, develop and manage logistics and compliance staff, including hiring, training, coaching, performance management, and team accountability.
  • Manage relationships and performance of carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other logistics service providers.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs, Participating Government Agency (PGA), and internal trade compliance requirements, including HTS classification support and import documentation management.
  • Coordinate with vendors, origin teams, customs brokers, and internal departments to manage bookings, shipment visibility, exceptions, and on-time delivery.
  • Oversee ocean and air freight import operations, including customs entry accuracy, FOB costing, tariff application, and duty compliance.
  • Analyze operational and compliance reports, monitor KPIs, and implement corrective actions and process improvements as needed.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating processes, leveraging technology, and identifying innovative solutions that improve visibility, productivity, service performance, and cost effectiveness.
  • Maintain SOPs, internal systems, and compliance records to support operational consistency and audit readiness.
  • Partner cross-functionally with planning, procurement, finance, operations, and distribution teams to support supply chain continuity and business needs.
  • Support additional international logistics and trade compliance initiatives as assigned.
