This is a temporary full-time position for up to 1 year, with 13 vacancies. The role involves cleaning and sanitizing ambulances and emergency response vehicles, equipment, and uniforms. It also includes preparing and restocking response bags, bins, and vehicles, maintaining stock levels, and performing general housekeeping duties. The position requires receiving and inspecting shipments, conducting inventory audits, replacing expired or broken items, and maintaining, repairing, and testing specialized paramedic and ambulance equipment. Data entry for inventory, inspections, and maintenance is also a key responsibility. The role involves operating and fueling vehicles, performing MTO circle checks, minor vehicle maintenance, and operating various tools. Additionally, the technician will prepare and present training programs, recommend efficiency improvements, and perform quality assurance tasks to ensure compliance with regulations. The position requires working various 24/7 rotating or fixed shifts in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision, traveling to different locations, and maintaining positive working relationships with Paramedic staff. Other duties at the same or lower wage grade, including laboring, maintenance, and cleaning activities, may be assigned.
