About The Position

ALC is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Technician to join our Kennesaw Supply Chain team. The Logistics Technician is a key player in the material flow, from the moment product arrives at our facility to the moment it ships out as a finished good. This isn't just a warehouse job—it's your chance to play a part in ensuring our products get where they need to go, on time, every time! The Logistics Technician would need to thrive in a fast-paced environment, passion for hands-on work, and want to contribute to customer satisfaction. We will also cross-train the Logistics Technician in support shipping and production flow activities. The Logistics Technician must be able and willing to work overtime beyond the standard 40 hours work week when needed to support production. This is an onsite role in Kennesaw, GA .

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 6+ months of experience in logistics or warehousing
  • Ability to obtain the inhouse certification for forklift, hand-truck, or pallet jack
  • Ability to spend most of the day standing, reaching, bending, and lifting boxes up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

  • Material Receiving Receive incoming materials and verify accuracy against purchase orders. Unload trailers, stage parts, and process shipments using the Fourth Shift system. Inspect incoming product condition and verify component details i.e., Thru-Hole, SMT, ROHS.
  • Finished Goods Shipping Pick and safely package finished products for dispatch. Prepare shipping documentation and process shipments using platforms i.e. UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, and DHL. Organize and stage cartons (up to 50 lbs) on the shipping dock for courier collection.
  • Inventory Control Support the team in material movement and maintaining high inventory accuracy. Process inventory requests, assist with cycle counts, review scrap, and use various counting devices i.e., scales, reel counters.
  • Waterspider / Production Flow Ensure continuous production flow, supply raw materials, transport finished goods from work areas, Remove waste and assist with equipment changeovers.
