About The Position

Logistics Technician- Sorter Operator (Night Shift) Location: Greenwood, SC, USA Join Lonza’s capsule manufacturing team in Greenwood, SC, where you'll play a critical role in ensuring the quality, traceability, and efficient production of pharmaceutical capsules. This is an exciting opportunity to work with advanced manufacturing systems in a fast-paced environment that directly supports the production of life-enhancing products. This is a fully site-based role. Working together in person supports close, real-time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to work a 12-hour night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) , including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
  • Basic computer skills with the ability to accurately enter and review production data.
  • Ability to use measurement tools and follow detailed operating procedures.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. and perform tasks requiring standing and movement throughout the shift.
  • Successful completion of the Color Hue Test requirement (score of 100 or below) and a strong commitment to safety, quality, teamwork, and productivity.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a manufacturing, production, logistics, or regulated environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Operate Unisor, ILD, and iBox systems to support capsule production in accordance with manufacturing specifications and procedures.
  • Ensure full product traceability by preparing, scanning, and processing materials throughout the manufacturing cycle.
  • Monitor capsule quality by performing moisture testing, inspections, sampling, and documenting results in electronic systems.
  • Respond to equipment alarms, process deviations, and production issues to maintain operational efficiency and product quality.
  • Conduct routine equipment checks, foreign capsule inspections, and support quality verification activities.
  • Maintain production flow by managing product levels, dispositioning finished goods, and handling waste according to procedures.
  • Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas while supporting a safe, organized, and world-class manufacturing environment.
