About The Position

Our Operations & Maintenance team serves more than 700 customers and maintains a 99% renewal rate each year. Based in Hopkinton, Massachusetts, Solect is a wholly owned subsidiary of Pattern Energy Group. The Logistics Team Member supports Construction, Services, Special Service Projects, and Facilities by coordinating the safe and timely movement of materials, equipment, and supplies. The role is performed by job-site deliveries, warehouse and inventory activities, equipment-rental coordination, fleet documentation and upkeep, and facility support to help field teams operate efficiently and safely.

Requirements

  • At least one year of experience in a warehouse, logistics, distribution, construction-support, or similar environment.
  • Valid driver’s license, current DOT Medical Card, and an excellent driving record.
  • OSHA 10 certification or the ability to obtain certification within six months of hire.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to complete logs, checklists, inventory records, and delivery documentation accurately.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to job sites and work flexible or extended hours as operational needs require.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with employees, subcontractors, and other business partners.
  • Excellent customer service orientation and a collaborative, responsive approach.
  • Ability to organize work, manage multiple priorities, and adapt quickly to changing schedules and plans.
  • Ability to remain effective in stressful, fast-paced circumstances and seek guidance on priorities when conditions change.
  • Safety-minded judgment, attention to detail, and reliable follow-through.

Responsibilities

  • Drive company vehicles to deliver construction materials, tools, and safety equipment to job sites; operate lulls and lifts as required and authorized.
  • Use site-visit checklists and photographs to pre-stage, stage, and support job sites in accordance with company safety policies and procedures.
  • Support the Regulatory team with permit drop-offs and pickups.
  • Receive, load, unload, and organize deliveries; assist with stock handling and maintain accurate warehouse inventory levels and controls.
  • Set up and break down safety equipment and prepare materials and equipment for field deployment.
  • Coordinate delivery and pick up of rental equipment for job sites and support facility-maintenance needs.
  • Use and maintain company fleet vehicles and complete required documentation, including DOT trip logs, weekly Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs), logistics duty logs, inventory tracking sheets, and receiving and delivery acknowledgments.
  • Communicate schedule changes, delivery needs, and competing priorities to the Logistics Manager and internal customers; adjust plans in a fast-paced environment.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with applicable safety requirements, company procedures, and regulatory standards.
