Logistics Team Manager
About The Position
SAIC is seeking a Logistics Team Manager for their customer site in North Charleston, SC. The role involves overseeing and managing the operational aspects of ongoing projects and acting as a liaison between project management, planning, project teams, and line management. Responsibilities include reviewing project status and budgets, managing schedules, preparing status reports, assessing project issues and developing resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals. The manager will also be responsible for ensuring contract requirements and subcontractor responsibilities are met, including defining and implementing project planning techniques for contract visibility. This may involve developing budgets and schedules, establishing program plan requirements, and monitoring performance against plans to meet contractual, cost, and schedule objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelors and 10 years or more of related experience (experience in lieu of a degree accepted)
- Logistics experience
- Defense Life-Cycle management
- Must be a U.S. citizen able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
