Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (Supply Chain Mgt, Operations Management, Logistics) from four-year college or university; or 10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Practical experience in warehouse operations and shipping preferred.
  • APICS/CPIM preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage resources and daily logistics activities including inbound and outbound shipments, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Responsible for safety, quality, delivery, inventory and productivity of all warehouse operations.
  • Works cross functionally with all departments effectively to balance demand with capacity and material movement.
  • Ensure a safe, organized, and clean working environment following 5S & Ergonomic methodology, emphasizing prevention of potential problems and hazardous conditions by supporting safety initiatives.
  • Lead & develop through active leadership, instilling the GF values, development plans, performance management and training matrices while living collective accountability.
  • Develop & deliver fair, accurate and meaningful employee performance reviews.
  • Responsible for assigned team’s adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Handle customs clearance and trade compliance activities (import/export) including international paperwork.
  • Maintain documentation standards for shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions.
  • Ensure proper execution and data accuracy within ERP
  • Oversee third-party logistics (3PL) providers and transport carriers to ensure performance and compliance.
  • Improve company and department performance through Operational Excellence/LEAN principles, methods, modules and elements. As well as CAPEX for new or existing equipment to increase capacity and/or improve effectiveness.
  • Actively participate and report out in Daily Management +QDIP and Gemba to drive cross-functional execution while tracking daily performance.
  • Ensure when a miss occurs, a root cause analysis and counter measures are identified, executed and validated for effectiveness.
  • Track and improve logistics KPIs such as On-Time Delivery (OTD), Delivery Accuracy, Inventory Accuracy, and Warehouse Productivity.
  • Complete Role Standard Work and deliver all other duties as assigned.
