Logistics Team Lead
About The Position
As a Logistics Team Lead, you will be responsible for directing teammates in their respective areas and managing day-to-day operations to meet required levels of production. We will count on you to coordinate inbound and outbound product movements within the distribution center and ensure that client orders are shipped in a timely manner to meet client expectations. Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience
- A minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience
- Some supervisory experience
- Ability to communicate in and understand English to the extent necessary to fulfill/perform the essential job functions
Responsibilities
- Directing teammates in their respective areas and managing day-to-day operations to meet required levels of production.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound product movements within the distribution center.
- Ensure that client orders are shipped in a timely manner to meet client expectations.
- Effectively utilize a variety of communication tools to ensure key issues are communicated to teammates and management.
- Provide support in organizing and facilitating department or company meetings.
- Assume the manager's role during the manager’s absence.
- Proactively take accountability for getting things done, driving tasks through to completion.
