We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Product Support and Logistics Division as a Logistics Systems Integration Lead in Morton, IL. Our Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is one of the most innovative divisions within Caterpillar. Requirements

Knowledge of collaborative techniques; ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.
Knowledge of logistics and management; ability to follow proper processes and run operations for effective and efficient movement of materials and finished products.
Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
Deep understanding and adherence to IT systems development and deployment methodology standards.

Project Management
10 years of experience within transportation, trade, warehouse and supply chain functions with a focus on operations & systems
5 years experience of leading large enterprise programs
Experience improving operations at logistics facilities (medium to large size) and aligning systems to operational needs
Background in mainframe tools & technology
Certification in Supply Chain Management
Certification in Project Management

Responsibilities

Oversees the design and development of business processes and drives the creation of IT system requirements to support Transportation, Trade, and Warehouse operations.
Documents logistics capability needs and partners with cross-functional enterprise teams to ensure the development of appropriate Enterprise IT systems and requirements.
Collaborates with multiple business partners to document the business processes and systems requirements to share with IT teams to realize project objectives.
Represents multiple process/system needs and communicates these requirements to other representatives of the logistics and supply chain.
Manages, analyzes and maintains a large collection of data and documentation.
Articulates business needs and ensures alignment of technical specifications.
Applies deep knowledge of inventory, logistics, transportation and trade operations, best practices with both processes and technology.
Tracks process improvements consistently across all business and IT systems deployments.
Communicates program status information in a timely, accurate and concise manner.
Operates independently at facilities and provides leadership to project teams.
Accurately reports project status, risk and mitigation plans.
Leads the review of global operational locations, makes improvement recommendations and works closely to implement improvements.
Provides operational global support and technical analysis for Logistical Systems.
