About The Position

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for a Logistics Support Coordinator to join their Receiving and Inventory Team, supporting both the Troy Hill Campus for the Elkridge and Halethorpe, MD locations. The Receiving and Inventory Team is responsible for supporting all warehouse operations, SAP and Gold inventory control, and material receipt and pull functions at the Troy Hill and Halethorpe locations. The role involves performing a combination of manual and clerical shipping duties, using a computer system for tracking, logging, verifying, and reporting, and receiving incoming materials from vendors and manufacturing. Responsibilities include monitoring and maintaining inventory, identifying special stock requirements, processing material receipts, pulling material to support manufacturing work in progress (WIP) and Contract End Items (CEI), satisfying material requests, and performing physical cycle counts per PrOP and MMAS standards, reconciling stock and processing adjustments. The role also involves identifying, communicating, and processing physical inventory loss, executing process compliance during audits, and supporting receiving, GOLD and SAP storerooms, and finished goods processes. The position may require working alternate shifts to support business needs. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, thrives in a fast-paced environment, adapts well to changes, is comfortable working independently and with others, is deadline-driven, and can prioritize work effectively.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Receiving, Logistics, Inventory Management, Warehouse, or related fields
  • Able to stand/sit for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift 35 pounds
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift operating license
  • Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Level Security Clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship required

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with SAP, GOLDesp, and ISE/CADSTAR
  • Past data collection and reporting experience
  • Knowledge of DD Form 1149, DD Form 250

Responsibilities

  • Perform a combination of manual and clerical shipping duties
