About The Position

Administer the property management, accountability, and logistics program at a mission training complex. Assume responsibility for the request, receipt, issue, and accountability of expendable, durable, and non-expendable supplies and equipment. Submit reoccurring tracking, status, and budget reports. Assist with scheduled and non-scheduled property inventories. Conduct life cycle management and procurement for necessary support items. Coordinate logistics activities with internal and external customers. Conduct shipping and receiving, budgeting, spending plan, vendor research, cost analysis, and corporate credit card purchases. Anticipate logistics problems related to mission support requirements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Military Supply Specialist or Military Logistics Officer
  • Experience with the U.S. Army Supply Management and Property Accountability Program
  • Experience keeping accurate records of inventories, hand receipts, procurement documents, and accountability documents
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, OneDrive, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, or Word
  • Ability to move objects up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with the Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A), Training Support-Material Army-wide Tracking System (TS-MATS), or Logistic Systems Applications and Products (SAP)
  • Experience with contracting for services
  • Knowledge of the Computer Hardware, Enterprise Software, and Solutions (CHESS) strategy
