About The Position

As a Logistics supervisor, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating activities for the warehouse and shipping departments for a given shift. You will coach, guide, and mentor a group of associates to create a culture of safety, quality, and service. You will collaborate across departments and sites in an effort to drive continuous improvement within inventory management, labor productivity, and customer service activities. This is an overnight shift with hours from 5:30pm-6:00am. Some weekend work required.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years experience in Distribution / Warehouse setting or supply chain management role
  • Experience with ERP, WMS, and WES preferred
  • The employee is regularly required to use hands to handle, reach with hands and arms, see, talk, and hear.
  • The employee is required to stand, walk, stoop, or kneel.
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
  • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and to wet and/or humid conditions.
  • The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme cold.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Related Field Preferred
  • Food/beverage and/or CPG experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and sustain a culture of safety through regular presence on the floor, engaging with team members across functions to identify improvement opportunities, and ensure completion of all relevant training and observations
  • Ensure all team members follow standard work procedures that allow for accurate inventory counts across all raw materials and finished goods inventory locations
  • Develop and sustain staffing model to meet inbound and outbound shipment requirements, while striving to remain a shipper of choice for carriers
  • Hire, train, develop, and grow a team of hourly associates to exceed customer expectations and consistently deliver financial results
  • This position has responsibilities related to Food Safety and Quality
  • Other responsibilities, as necessary.
