Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in logistics, shipping, or related fields
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Customer-focused mindset with a collaborative attitude
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Experience in drayage, dispatch, or logistics operations is a plus
Responsibilities
- Manage and update shipment data using MSC’s proprietary systems
- Coordinate with customers, government agencies, and international offices to ensure smooth cargo movement
- Oversee documentation and customer service tasks for assigned shipments
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with shipping regulations and company standards
- Build and sustain strong relationships with customers and logistics partners
- Respond promptly to inquiries and provide clear updates on shipment status and logistics milestones
- Identify and escalate complex issues, offering proactive solutions when possible
- Contribute to process improvements by sharing insights and feedback with leadership
- Support team goals through collaboration, accuracy, and a commitment to service excellence
- Perform other related duties, as assigned
