Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in logistics, shipping, or related fields
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Customer-focused mindset with a collaborative attitude
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Experience in drayage, dispatch, or logistics operations is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Manage and update shipment data using MSC’s proprietary systems
  • Coordinate with customers, government agencies, and international offices to ensure smooth cargo movement
  • Oversee documentation and customer service tasks for assigned shipments
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with shipping regulations and company standards
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with customers and logistics partners
  • Respond promptly to inquiries and provide clear updates on shipment status and logistics milestones
  • Identify and escalate complex issues, offering proactive solutions when possible
  • Contribute to process improvements by sharing insights and feedback with leadership
  • Support team goals through collaboration, accuracy, and a commitment to service excellence
  • Perform other related duties, as assigned
