About The Position

The Logistics Specialist supports the customer’s Logistics Officers in analyzing and coordinating logistical functions for NGA facilities, equipment sites, and globally deployed resources to meet current and emerging customer needs. The role is part of Parsons’ Federal Solutions team, which provides services and solutions to U.S. government customers in defense, security, intelligence, infrastructure, and environmental areas.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent education/experience as allowed by the contract.
At least 2 years of related professional experience, preferably in logistics or supply chain, supporting complex programs; federal experience is preferred.
Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance.
Understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) as they relate to Government Furnished Property (GFP) and Contractor Acquired Property (CAP) management.
Experience in data management and performing data analysis of large logistical populations of data.

Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and execute logistics support activities, including supply chain management, inventory management, accountable property records management, Government property disposal, cost analysis, asset management, and disposal of Lost, Damaged, and Destroyed (LDD) property.
Support the customer’s Logistics Officers in analyzing and coordinating logistical functions for NGA facilities, equipment sites, and globally deployed resources.
Manage and analyze large populations of logistics data.
