About The Position

The Logistics Specialist will be responsible for completing weekly inspections of all stations in the assigned region, including supply closets, inventory, and processing orders. This role maintains cleanliness, organization, and par levels at all assigned locations. The specialist reports findings and recommendations to the Director of Logistics and executes actions based on best practice standards. Responsibilities include maintaining supply cabinet setup, organization, ordering, deliveries, stocking, and re-stocking within the region. The role also oversees materials management, logistics, supply chain, and centralized stock rooms for assigned stations, ensuring strict compliance with Pafford Policies & Procedures and all state and federal program rules and regulations. Additional related duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be of upstanding moral and ethical character.
  • Must be a highly motivated self-starter.
  • High school diploma.
  • Experience in EMS.
  • Proficient in use of the English language.
  • Certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
  • Experience in logistics and/or supply chain management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
  • Able to successfully self-lead, self-manage, and work independently.
  • Must be able to act as a professional, respectful brand ambassador for Pafford; interacting with customers, clients, employees, fire employees, governmental agencies and personnel as well as federal and state contractors.
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Work may require sitting, near vision use for reading and computer use, lifting, stooping, bending, stretching, walking, standing, pushing, pulling, reaching, and other physical exertion.
  • Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone.
  • Must possess visual acuity to prepare and analyze data and figures, perform accounting functions, operate a computer terminal, operate a motor vehicle, and do extensive reading.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain strict compliance with all Pafford Policies & Procedures.
  • Maintain strict compliance with all rules and regulations set forth by the state and federal programs.
  • May perform other related duties or tasks as assigned.
