About The Position

SAIC is seeking a logistics analyst to work from our warehouse at Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque, New Mexico, supporting a program for the Space Systems Command (SSC). The selected candidate will support planning, development and implementation of processes to coordinate physical distribution, order fulfillment, inventory management and control, and contract management activities.

Requirements

  • Logistics analyst experience
  • Experience with planning, development and implementation of processes for physical distribution, order fulfillment, inventory management and control, and contract management activities
  • Experience preparing and reviewing Bills of Lading (BOL), packing lists, invoices, and carrier paperwork
  • Experience verifying package integrity and shipping documents for accuracy and compliance
  • Experience maintaining digital and physical records of shipments
  • Experience coordinating inbound receiving schedules
  • Experience tracking inbound load status and communicating discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods.
  • Experience planning and managing material movement
  • Experience ensuring the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistic processes
  • Experience performing manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties
  • Experience using computer systems for inventory tracking, logging, verifying and reporting
  • Experience supporting receiving, replacing, and retiring of HW and SW inventory and components
  • Knowledge of DoD, Air Force, Space Force and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), EGS government supply chain of custody, and property asset management requirements

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review Bills of Lading (BOL), packing lists, invoices, and carrier paperwork
  • Verify package integrity and shipping documents for accuracy and compliance
  • Maintain digital and physical records of shipments in accordance with customer and company policy
  • Coordinate inbound receiving schedules with warehouse receiving teams.
  • Track inbound load status and communicate discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods.
  • Plan and manage material movement with purchasing, warehouse, and production
  • Ensure the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistic processes. Logistics functions encompass maintenance, supply, transportation and logistics plans
  • Perform a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties; will work out of a central warehouse
  • Use computer system for inventory tracking, logging, verifying and reporting
  • Support receiving, replacing, and retiring of HW and SW inventory and components
  • Apply processes in accordance with DoD, Air Force, Space Force and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), EGS government supply chain of custody, and property asset management requirements
