Your Work Keeps Aerospace Operations on Track As a Logistics Specialist I, you'll support the coordination, documentation, tracking, storage, and shipment of critical aviation materials and equipment. From managing inventory records to assisting with shipping logistics and regulatory compliance, you'll help ensure the right parts are in the right place at the right time. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build a career in aviation logistics while gaining exposure to supply chain operations that support high-performance aerospace programs.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with inventory databases
  • Knowledge of inventory, supply chain, and logistics principles
  • Familiarity with AvPro or similar aviation maintenance tracking systems
  • Experience using shipping platforms such as:- FedEx DHL UPS
  • Forklift operation experience
  • HazMat Training and/or Certification
  • Understanding of shelf-life management and inventory controls
  • Aerospace, aviation, defense, military, or Department of Defense experience
  • Warehouse, distribution, or logistics coordination experience

Responsibilities

  • Prepare logistics documentation for spare parts, tools, test equipment, materials, and related manuals
  • Support the routing, tracking, and coordination of incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment, components, repair parts, and associated documentation
  • Track inventory and logistics materials to ensure proper storage and allocation within warehouse facilities
  • Assist with inventory control and supply chain activities
  • Learn and apply state, federal, international, import, and export regulations
  • Coordinate shipping activities using established logistics systems and databases
  • Support warehouse organization and material handling processes
  • Help ensure compliance with quality, safety, and inventory management standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain efficient logistics operations
