Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working within the area of unit supply operations, large inventory maintenance, property management, administration, and Army equipment calibration.
  • Possess knowledge of inventory management, shipping, receiving, transportation, storage, turn-in, property accountability, and supply procedures and regulations.
  • Must be familiar with AR 735-5 for the purposes of accountability and calibration.
  • Shall have a demonstrated knowledge of the Army calibration system and have a working understanding of current IT as applied to property accountability.
  • Requires extensive knowledge of Army Regulations (AR) referencing supply and logistics management, including AR 710-2 and AR 735-5.
  • Requires thorough experience with automated property accountability systems including Global Combat Service Support-Army (GCSS-A), Federal Logistics Data (FED LOG), and RTC property systems and document registers.
  • Requires the ability to efficiently communicate with the government customer to promptly resolve concerns.
  • DoD Secret or higher security clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
  • Satisfactory background screening, negative drug test, positive references and proof of identity and legal authorization to work in the United States are required.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Army Regulation (AR) 710-2, Supply Policy Below the National Level; and, AR 735-5, Property Accountability Policies.
  • Prior Army service in the logistics field.
  • Experience using Global Combat Support System – Army (GCSS-A).

Responsibilities

  • Property management for government owned equipment.
  • General Services Administration (GSA) vehicle fleet management.
  • Logistics reporting supporting the Redstone Test Center (RTC).
  • Complete annual and quarterly inventories.
  • Complete equipment transfers and material disposal, turn-in, and relocation.
  • Preparing monthly logistic reports.
