About The Position

MedSpeed is a healthcare logistics company that partners with healthcare organizations to transport medical supplies and specimens. The Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver transports lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays, hospital supplies, interoffice mail, and related materials using a company-owned vehicle. The position is based in Charlotte, North Carolina, and involves distance driving within the state. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The posting gives conflicting employment information: its headline says part time, while the listing details say full time. Drivers use a handheld scanning device to track items, follow operating procedures and schedules, load and unload vehicles, and maintain a professional image in interactions with clients and the public. Duties and route assignments may vary with client and business needs, and drivers must be able to work across assigned routes. Safe driving, vehicle inspections, teamwork, and adaptability are central to the role. COVID vaccination is stated as required in the opening details; the qualifications section says proof may depend on location and local mandates. Candidates must complete a criminal background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle record review as a condition of employment after receiving an offer. The company evaluates results under its policies and applicable laws.
