The Logistics Scheduler plays a critical role in ensuring reliable shipments from production facilities to customers across diverse industries. This position serves as a key link between plant operations, transportation providers, internal commercial teams, and customers to coordinate shipments, manage inventory positions, and support uninterrupted product supply. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to supply chain management, logistics coordination, inventory planning, customer account management and interaction, and commercial operations within a fast-paced energy and commodity environment. This is an on-site role located in Wichita, KS.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years’ experience in a corporate transportation/scheduling role
High School Diploma or equivalent
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail, data analysis and commitment to accuracy.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, or after-hours as business needs require.
Ability to travel occasionally (less than 10% of the time).

Nice To Haves

Experience using ERP, inventory management systems, and excel-based tools and analytics.
Experience in transportation, logistics, dispatching, scheduling, supply chain, commodity marketing, or customer operations.
Experience working within the energy, agricultural, manufacturing, industrial gas, or commodity industries.

Responsibilities

Coordinate daily shipments from production facilities to customer locations.
Schedule and optimize transportation resources to ensure timely and cost-effective product delivery.
Work directly with carriers, dispatchers, and terminal personnel to manage shipment execution and resolve transportation challenges.
Monitor shipment status and proactively address delays, service disruptions, or changing customer requirements.
