About The Position

The Logistics Project Lead supports logistics and customer implementation initiatives from concept through steady state operations. This role integrates project alignment, customer onboarding support, and technical implementation activities to ensure seamless transitions and successful execution of strategic initiatives. This role is expected to manage multiple concurrent projects, aligning execution with company objectives while ensuring timely and successful delivery. This role requires strong task coordination, detailed documentation, effective customer communication, and the ability to support several technical systems and processes. The Project Lead is a dynamic, analytical, and execution-focused contributor responsible for driving high-impact projects and supporting customer go-live initiatives. This role requires residence in the greater Indianapolis metropolitan area.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • 2+ years of experience leading complex, high-impact projects
  • Experience successfully interfacing with customers to understand and meet their expectations
  • Strong computer and technical skills, including experience configuring portals
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership abilities
  • Strong organizational, recordkeeping, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High level of professionalism
  • Work well independently and within a team-based environment
  • Prioritize and multi-task large workloads while maintaining accuracy
  • Ability to stand in one location and stay task-focused for long periods of time

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with logistics is a plus, but not required
  • Proficiency in NetSuite and Office 365 preferred
  • Lean Six Sigma or similar certifications in process improvement preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead logistics projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives, customer requirements, and operational standards
  • Partner with the Implementation Analyst to support timely and accurate new Tangoe client onboarding, customer go-lives, and change events
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders involved in the project, maintaining clear communication, and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle
  • Track project milestones, risks, and readiness indicators, ensuring the effective use of resources (time, budget, personnel) to meet project goals
  • Oversee temporary resources, including the day-to-day work of contract staff assigned to support customer projects and/or implementations
  • Provide regular updates to leadership on project status, key milestones, risks, and outcomes
  • Support data gathering, reporting, and analysis related to service requests and program changes to provide insights and recommendations for future initiatives
  • Develop and maintain proper documentation of all project processes and procedures
  • Conduct examinations and ad-hoc device testing as needed to ensure compliance, quality, and customer satisfaction
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with clients, logistics team members, and cross-functional teams
  • Follow department safety and security procedures
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned
