Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately measure, weigh, count, label, and document products.
Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and follow written and verbal instructions.
Strong teamwork, time management, reliability, and personal accountability.
Professionalism and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse/production environment.
All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

Previous warehouse, packaging, shipping, receiving, or production experience is preferred.
Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is preferred.
Familiarity with Food Safety and Defense / HACCP is preferred.
Knowledge and ability to use barcode scanners is preferred.

Responsibilities

Pack and package a wide variety of products and materials according to established specifications.
Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers using hand tools such as staple guns.
Use polypropylene strapping tools, strap tensioners, and stretch-wrapping equipment to prepare products for shipment.
Process shipping orders and prepare completed packages for delivery.
Transport packages to the appropriate shipping companies or designated shipping areas.
Load materials and products into packaging or processing equipment.
Remove completed or defective products and materials and place them in designated areas such as loading docks.
Examine containers, materials, and products to ensure packaging specifications are met.
Measure, weigh, and count products and materials accurately.
Mark and label containers, container tags, and products using appropriate marking tools.
Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records.
Clean containers, materials, supplies, and work areas using appropriate cleaning solutions and hand tools.
Safely operate barcode readers, scanning devices, bundling machines, bagging machines, heat sealers, staple guns, stretch-wrap dispensers, and other equipment.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment and follow applicable safety procedures.
Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
