About The Position

As a Logistics Operator at Photon Control Inc., a subsidiary of MKS Instruments, Inc., you will be responsible for ensuring standards and procedures are adhered to and ensure timely as well as the timely and accurate processing of production kitting, incoming, and outgoing shipments.

Requirements

Minimum 6 months of warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse best practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory software.
Ability to work with counting scales and basic warehousing tools.
Attention to detail and ability to learn and follow procedures.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in final packaging is preferred.
Experience in shipping/receiving is an asset.
Experience with Epicor is an asset.

Responsibilities

Preparing and completing pick orders for production according to schedule.
Preparing kits for production orders by accurately picking, packing, labeling, and organizing parts by job number, following the BOM.
Performing inventory controls and maintaining inventory quantity and location accuracy.
Participating in daily cycle counts and reporting any discrepancies.
Receiving and verifying products from suppliers by cross-checking parts with packing lists.
Reporting damaged items or shortages not noted at the time of delivery and preparing related paperwork as necessary.
Completing receiving reports and logs, maintaining and distributing paperwork.
Preparing, processing, and completing customer shipments according to the shipping schedule.
Preparing finished goods for shipment by sorting, packaging, wrapping, and labeling.
Keeping a clean and safe working environment and optimizing space utilization.
Ordering supplies needed for shipping or warehouse operations.
Supporting the Production department with assigned priorities when required.
