About The Position

Inside the Role This posting is for an Inventory Control Specialist responsible for ensuring accurate inventory levels to support production and customer needs. This role manages inventory adjustments and coordinates material requests while preventing operational disruptions. They will work cross functionally to resolve issues quickly, maintain system accuracy, and uphold compliance with established processes and standards. Requirements

  • 2 years of relevant experience OR AA degree
  • Understanding of inventory control
  • Demonstrated teamwork skills, including cross-functional collaboration
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • AA or BS in Business or Supply Chain related discipline
  • Logistics experience
  • IMS experience

Responsibilities

  • Process miscellaneous inventory adjustments as required to maintain accurate system records.
  • Execute material transfers to fulfill part requests from Engineering and Service.
  • Plan and procure parts needed to support customer‑selected options added after chassis build.
  • Review and process all special parts procurement and shipping requests.
  • Monitor the non‑conformance system, issue debit memos, and coordinate with Material Planners to support offline work orders.
  • Ensure departmental alignment with TOS indirect‑material initiatives and compliance expectations.
  • Manage the material and notification components of the Ship‑Short process to ensure timely customer deliveries and/or rework.
  • Monitor supplier adherence to EDI shipping requirements and communicate discrepancies to the appropriate planners.
