A Logistics Operation Manager oversees all aspects of a distribution facility's operations, coordinating shipping and receiving, ensuring quality, managing staff, and optimizing processes to achieve efficiency and meet production goals. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field is often required.
Several years of experience in manufacturing operations, ideally in a leadership role.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety procedures.
Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to identify and resolve problems effectively.
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement production schedules and plans to meet customer demand and deadlines.
Monitor production progress and adjust plans as needed to ensure timely completion.
Manage inventory levels to minimize costs and ensure timely availability of materials.
Ensure that products meet quality standards and specifications.
Implement and maintain quality control systems and procedures.
Investigate and resolve quality issues promptly.
Lead and motivate a team of warehouse Forklift, Material Handler and Supervisors.
Hire, train, and evaluate employees.
Address employee issues and concerns.
Administer disciplinary actions and set corrective behavior goals.
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Evaluate and implement new technologies and equipment.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Ensure that all safety regulations and procedures are followed.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
