Join our team for a summer internship opportunity designed to provide hands-on experience in logistics modeling, supply chain analytics, and strategic network design. This internship is ideal for a college student interested in learning how data, modeling tools, and cross-functional collaboration support real-world supply chain decisions.

Requirements

  • Incoming junior, senior, or higher education with at least one semester of school remaining.
  • Studying Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business, Analytics, Data Science, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Previous work experience in any field is preferred.
  • Work experience within the internship discipline is strongly preferred but not required.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required.
  • Ability to multitask, motivated self-starter, and collaborative.
  • Resume must state your expected graduation date and your area of study.
  • For positions where relocation is not offered, students must be within a commutable distance to the facility, which is 60 miles or less.
  • The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to Access, SQL, data visualization, analytics tools, supply chain modeling software, or AI-assisted productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Claude) is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with collecting, cleaning, organizing, and validating logistics and supply chain data used in modeling and analysis.
  • Support model preparation and scenario analysis related to warehouse network design, inventory flow, transportation impacts, and production alignment.
  • Learn how Coupa Supply Chain Modeler (Supply Chain Guru) and supporting tools are used to evaluate logistics design and supply chain improvement opportunities.
  • Assist with analysis related to plant production line modeling, capacity expansion, sourcing strategies, and distribution network planning.
  • Help maintain baseline data, assumptions, and documentation that support accurate model inputs and repeatable analysis.
  • Review modeling outputs and assist with summarizing key findings, opportunities, and potential risks for team discussion.
  • Prepare charts, tables, summaries, and presentation materials to communicate analytical results in a clear and concise format.
  • Gain exposure to AI-assisted tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Claude) available to support organizing information, summarizing findings, and presentation development, building real-world experience applying AI within a business setting.
  • Participate in cross-functional project discussions with Logistics, Transportation, Warehousing, Operations, Supply Chain Planning, and Finance partners.
  • Complete assigned project work and present learnings or recommendations at the conclusion of the internship.
