This role involves building and leading the logistics function, focusing on process and SOP engineering, warehousing and inventory management, high-value equipment shipping with chain-of-custody and security, and heavy/oversized material movement. The goal is to ensure the right equipment arrives at the right location, on time, and intact.

  • Experience moving heavy equipment (generators, transformers, skids, prefab modules) with associated permits, rigging, and site receiving.
  • Experience standing up a function from scratch, including system selection, process writing, team hiring, and performance ownership.
  • Fluency in trade compliance for dual-use electronics across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.
  • Comfortable in vendor QBRs, software requirements reviews, and on a loading dock.

  • Experience with central integration/rack-build lines, including shock/vibe qualification.
  • Background in supply-chain analytics or cost-attribution.

Responsibilities

  • Own process and SOP engineering for receiving, inspection, kitting, integration, ship-out, install, and RMA, including QA/audit loops.
  • Run warehousing and inventory management, including establishing the warehouse network, defining the sparing model, and implementing cycle-count/reconciliation discipline.
  • Act as the business owner for the asset-lifecycle platform, partnering with the software team to define requirements, data models, state machines, and integrations.
  • Own high-value shipping operations, including carrier selection, lane risk assessment, traceability, and insurance/claims management.
  • Manage heavy and oversized logistics, including route surveys, permits, rigging, crane coordination, and site-receiving plans.
  • Oversee trade compliance (ECCN/ITAR classification, licensing) and reverse logistics (RMA, repair, decommission, disposition).
