About The Position

As the Logistics Manager – Aftermarket Distribution Center, you will lead a critical operation that ensures our customers receive the products and support they need to keep their fleets operating safely and efficiently. In this highly visible leadership role, you will drive distribution center performance through strategic planning, operational excellence, continuous improvement, and employee development. You will partner with business leaders to develop and execute strategies that improve productivity, optimize costs, and enhance customer satisfaction while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and engagement. This position leads both salaried and union-represented employees and plays a key role in shaping the future of our aftermarket logistics operations.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
  • Experience in logistics, warehouse, distribution center, supply chain, or related field

  • Experience leading logistics, warehouse, distribution center, supply chain, or operations teams in a manufacturing, aerospace, industrial, or related environment.
  • Experience driving operational performance through metrics, process improvement, and employee engagement.
  • Experience implementing and sustaining Continuous Improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality, operational efficiency, and employee relations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Working knowledge of SAP, NetSuite, or other Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence across multiple departments.
  • Experience in budget development and financial management to ensure alignment with business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Distribution Center operations with a strategic focus on efficiency, productivity, and continuous improvement, managing both salaried and union team members.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop employees to build high-performing teams aligned with business objectives.
  • Monitor and direct daily operations to ensure on-time shipping, receiving, and repackaging that meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Communicate and report order status and Distribution Center activities to other departments in a clear and timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with all company safety, EH&S, and policy procedures.
  • Monitor KPIs and implement process improvements to meet or exceed performance metrics.
  • Oversee facility and equipment maintenance to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring alignment with corporate strategies and financial goals.
