About The Position

Akima Technical Solutions is seeking a Senior Logistics Management Analyst (PBO) to work on-site outside the continental United States (OCONUS). The role supports theater-level logistics operations and the command’s area of responsibility, including supply chain management, property-book functions, warehousing, inventory control, and equipment movement. The position is contingent on contract award and funding; selected applicants cannot begin work until funding is confirmed. The analyst leads training and equipment efforts for the Build Partner Capacity warehouse team and assigned personnel in theater, coordinates with customers, and travels with them to work locations. The position develops logistics strategies, improves processes, manages risk, supports distribution and inventory planning, maintains records and reports, and coordinates logistics activities with internal and external customers. Work is performed with minimal supervision, with only the most complex issues referred to higher-level staff. Duties also include reconciling property authorization documents and records; reviewing theater property records and coordinating priority requisitions and shipments; preparing supply, property, transportation, and accountability documentation; conducting inspections and inventories; processing and tracking equipment and materiel movements; and training subordinate personnel in supply and warehousing procedures. The analyst may operate ATVs, non-tactical vehicles, or commercial vehicles and perform routine operator maintenance when required. The role requires readiness to work long hours in an austere, potentially inhospitable environment and to complete required customer readiness certifications and training.
