About The Position

Akima Technical Solutions (ATS) is seeking a Logistics Management Analyst to work in Little Creek, Virginia. This role involves receiving and distributing sensitive materials, parts, and equipment within a Theater of Operations supporting the Unmanned Airial Vehicle (UAV) program. The analyst will work in a classified environment, developing and maintaining reporting matrixes for tracking sensitive materials, and will be responsible for inventorying, safeguarding, and accounting for these materials valued in the millions. The position also requires acting as a liaison between vendors and government representatives for expediting materials, obtaining transportation, requesting parts, submitting and closing out Transportation Movement Requests (TMR), retrograding unserviceable or excess materials, and maintaining documentation of all material movements. Additionally, the role involves assisting the Joint Special Operations Task Force with maintaining adequate repair parts stock for readiness.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
  • Must possess a US SECRET clearance.
  • Must be able to obtain licensing to operate MHE.
  • Must be able to stand, sit, bend, reach and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift and carry 60lbs.
  • Must be able to operate in sweltering climates.
  • Must have a thorough and complete understanding of manual unit supply procedures.
  • Must have military experience in Unit Supply Procedures (92Y MOS preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Receives and distributes sensitive materials, parts and equipment throughout a Theater of operations supporting the Unmanned Airial Vehicle (UAV) program.
  • Develops, maintains or improves reporting matrixes to accurately track and report end-to-end status of all sensitive materials, parts and equipment requested, procured, manufactured, fabricated or shipped in support of the UAV program while operating in a classified environment.
  • Inventories, safeguards and properly accounts for sensitive materials, parts and equipment valued in the millions.
  • Acts as the liaison between the vendor and government representatives in matters of expediting sensitive materials, parts and equipment that have long lead-times.
  • Obtains transportation to pick-up and/or receive sensitive materials, parts and equipment from multiple sources.
  • Request parts.
  • Submits, coordinates and/or close-out Transportation Movement Requests (TMR).
  • Retrogrades unserviceable, unwanted and excess sensitive materials, parts and equipment from a strategic theater of operation to a depot level of repair.
  • Maintains a document file of all sensitive materials, parts and equipment received, shipped and/or retrograded.
  • Assists the Joint Special Operations Task Force with maintaining adequate stocks of repair parts on hand to maintain readiness.
