About The Position

Woodward's Aerospace Division is seeking a Logistics Leader in our Loves Park, Illinois campus to lead supply chain operations and improve efficiency across procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and distribution. This role develops and implements supply chain strategies, monitors performance, manages vendor relationships, and partners with cross-functional teams to support business goals. This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). All applicants must be U.S. Persons within the meaning of the ITAR and EAR, or eligible to obtain all required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State and/or the U.S. Department of Commerce. Requirements

Develops and implements comprehensive supply chain strategies that align with the business segment’s objectives and drive overall performance.
Analyzes and enhances supply chain processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure timely delivery of products and services.
Leads, motivates, and manages the supply chain team, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring team members achieve their professional goals.
Utilizes data driven approaches to identify issues within the supply chain and develops effective solutions to address them.
Manages budgets, forecasts financial performance, and ensures cost effective operations within the supply chain.
Facilitates clear and effective communication across all levels of the organization and with external partners, ensuring alignment and collaboration.
Builds and maintains strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure reliable and quality supply chain operations.
Utilizes supply chain management software and other relevant technologies to streamline operations and enhance data analysis capabilities.
Identifies potential risks in the supply chain and develops strategies to mitigate them, ensuring continuity and resilience of operations.
Plans, executes, and oversees supply chain projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and meet the desired objectives.
Must be a U.S. Person within the meaning of ITAR and EAR, or eligible to obtain all required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State and/or the U.S. Department of Commerce.

Oversee daily supply chain operations, ensuring seamless coordination between procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and distribution to meet business objectives.
Analyze supply chain performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement initiatives to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners to ensure reliable supply and high service standards.
Collaborate with other departments such as sales, marketing, finance, and product development to align supply chain activities with overall business goals and drive integrated solutions.
