About The Position

As a Logistics Lead at Carvana, you will perform inventory and operations-related tasks at Logistics Hubs and Inspection Centers. You will support warehouse, logistics, and transportation activities; lead and develop team members; monitor operational performance; manage inventory and shipment processes; and coordinate with internal business partners and onsite vendors. This role requires adaptability, effective communication, and the ability to work at a quick pace in a changing environment.

The position is safety sensitive and involves frequent driving and typing, as well as working in varied weather and in environments that may be cold, hot, noisy, wet, or contain vehicle-maintenance fumes or odors. Physical requirements include extended periods of standing and frequent stretching, reaching, walking, stooping, pushing, and pulling, as well as independently lifting up to 40 pounds. Required safety equipment may include non-slip shoes, gloves, masks, and other protective garments or equipment. Reasonable accommodations are available for qualified individuals with disabilities.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license and an insurable driving record.
• Must have no more than two moving violations in the last three years and no DUI.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds independently.
• Must be able to perform frequent driving and typing and the described physical activities, with reasonable accommodation where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with warehouse, logistics, and transportation activities.
• Lead and develop the team, fostering a safe, collaborative, and productive environment.
• Support Logistics Associates and/or Vehicle Transporters with daily functions, including huddles, scheduling, training, shuttle driving, loading, and other tasks.
• Validate processes to ensure performance meets work standards and expectations.
• Monitor team performance through KPI reporting and assign and assist with tasks.
• Process specialized inventory using RFID scanners and tablets.
• Manage third-party transactions, including inbound and outbound trips, inspection of receivables, documentation sign-off, and support ticket creation.
• Facilitate delayed shipments by coordinating with warehouse and transportation personnel.
• Manage electric vehicle inventory and charging processes.
• Coordinate communication and operational management between Logistics and business partners, including Market Operations, Post Production, Network Support, and Safe and Secure.
• Support outbound shipping lane audits and ensure scheduled transport.
• Maintain operational supply inventory for Vehicle Transporters, Logistics Associates, and breakroom supplies.
• Receive, put away, and stage vehicles as needed.
• Assist onsite vendors with directions and access.
• Manage, coordinate, and oversee Logistics employee engagement events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
