About The Position

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a motivated and reliable Logistics Laborer (Non-Driver) to support our logistics operations. This role is responsible for various physical tasks related to material handling, organization, and preparation for transport, ensuring efficient and accurate movement of goods within our facilities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs regularly) and stand for extended periods.
• Basic understanding of inventory procedures and material handling best practices.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to all company policies and procedures.
• Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a physically demanding role, preferably in a warehouse, logistics, or construction environment, is a plus.
• Forklift certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading materials from trucks, trailers, and other vehicles using appropriate equipment and techniques.
• Assisting with the organization and inventory of materials in warehouses, yards, and staging areas.
• Preparing materials for shipment, including packing, labeling, and securing loads.
• Operating hand tools, power tools, and light equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts - certification not initially required but a plus) as needed to move and manage materials.
• Performing general labor tasks such as sweeping, cleaning, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
• Adhering to all safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Communicating effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Performing other duties as assigned by supervisors to support overall operational needs.
