About The Position

Support data flow through JIT commissioning systems (IPST/AVAS) and warehouse areas. This role involves monitoring indicators, coordinating internal and external logistics, managing inventory levels, and resolving system technical problems. The coordinator will act as a liaison between suppliers, production, and customers, handle launches and phase-outs, and provide first-line technical support for JIT/Sequencing commissioning systems.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of Manufacturing/Logistics experience
  • Stand up and sit down Forklift experience is required
  • High School or Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

  • Monitor indicators according to guidelines, and report any deviations
  • Control and coordinate internal DRX production and external subcontractors or transport companies
  • Monitor inventory levels, taking into consideration production supply and the level of the warehouse and container inventory
  • Retrieve inventory levels and production quantities in order to plan transport
  • Recognize bottlenecks and initiate special actions (e.g. special or rapid transport, extra shifts, etc.)
  • Place orders (e.g. materials, semifinished products, parts, containers, transport, etc.)
  • Monitor delivery amounts and schedules
  • Act as a contact between suppliers, production locations, customers
  • Handle launches and phase-outs
  • Handle excess inventory
  • Act as a contact between production and customers.
  • Responds to telephone calls, email, and personnel request for technical support.
  • Provides support to end users on a variety of conventional system issues.
  • Identifies, researches, and resolves system technical problems.
  • Include coordination of activities relating to order based logistics application (IPST), while also acting as a back-up system support coordinator.
  • Coordinate JIT/Sequenced shipments for daily operations of supporting computer systems.
  • Resolve IPST application hardware/software issues in JIT commissioning and sequencing areas.
  • Initial troubleshooting of JIT/Sequence commissioning systems (first line of defense).
  • Daily operation of computer systems that support JIT/Sequence delivery (AVAS, IPST, AULA)
  • Update bin locations in the final assembly area with new part numbers both physically and systematically per the logistics engineering change notification process.
  • Create and update part number labels for supermarket/logistics areas per the logistics engineering change notification process.
  • Lead coordination of re-sequencing efforts in both interior and electrical shipments when needed.
  • Coordinate PNW2 and service orders according to car line.
  • After hour support will be required.
