As a Logistics Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. You will serve as a member of the Forest City Distribution Center Operating Committee and direct supervisor for the Inventory, Customer Service, and Return Goods departments. You will determine departmental procedures that set the standards for continuous improvements and support the warehouse operation in leading improvement activities in the Inventory, Customer Service, and Return Goods areas to maximize output, minimize operation costs, and support a positive work environment. You will be a core resource for the implementation of a new enterprise resource planning software at the Forest City Distribution Center. This role requires a willingness to be on-call and support the Inventory Control, Customer Service, and Return Goods core tasks at the Forest City Distribution Center, which operates 7 days per week.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND a minimum of (4) four years of Supply Chain Experience in a private, public, government, or military environment OR High School Diploma/GED from AND a minimum of (8) eight years in Supply Chain Experience in a private, public, government, or military environment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

  • 3 years of leadership experience
  • Experience leading lean six sigma and / or continuous improvement projects.
  • Proven experience in learning and implementing new systems in operation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written format to a variety of size audiences.
  • Experience using SAP Enterprise Resource Planning system a plus.

Responsibilities
