Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience with enterprise supply chain risk management, including monitoring, auditing, and enforcing compliance and remediation strategies across large-scale logistics operations
  • 5+ years of experience with performing risk analytics, formal audits and engagements, and directing headquarters-level (HQ) monitoring controls
  • Experience planning, distributing, coordinating, and monitoring work assignments of others, evaluating work performance, and providing feedback to others on their performance, ensuring staff are treated in a fair and equitable manner
  • Knowledge of logistics management best practices and policies, including audit readiness standards such as execution risk and compliance controls
  • Knowledge of operational risk analytics, audit methodologies, and the internal frameworks necessary to manage enterprise-wide supply chain remediation efforts
  • Ability to rapidly review new governing documents, translate policy updates into operational strategies, and perform data analytics
  • Ability to leverage insights to direct HQ-level management review controls and respectfully challenge risk postures across the tactical, operational, and strategic levels
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics Management, Auditing, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or Risk Management

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working within a Navy ordnance unit or managing munitions readiness
  • Experience supervising or auditing Type Commanders (TYCOMs) and Navy Munitions Commands (NMC)
  • Experience with Defense Financial Improvement Audit Remediation (FIAR)
  • Knowledge of conventional ordnance management policies, including Execution of required Management Review Control (MRC) activities outlined in NAVSUP P-724 Section 4.5
  • Ability to apply standard logistics risk frameworks to explosive safety, munitions routing, and physical inventory controls of Class V stores
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Master’s degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Auditing, Accounting, or Business Administration
  • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) Certification
  • Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP) Certification
