About The Position

Solution One is seeking a Logistics Forward Center Analyst II (Temporary) for our client site at Fort Bragg, NC. The successful candidate will have outstanding skills and will be committed to working with others to deliver best-in-class, unparalleled excellence in customer service and satisfaction. This role controls the efficient flow of goods, services, and information between points of origin through customer placement to meet customer requirements. The analyst will ensure that customer service and time objectives are achieved within existing financial constraints to meet marketing and financial objectives. They will also ensure the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistics processes, such as the replenishment system, data interchange systems, demand management, electronic data systems administration and related functions. Building relationships with strategic customers through logistics initiatives and integrating learning from various sources to continuously improve competitive position are also key aspects of this role.

Requirements

  • Possess Secret security clearance prior to beginning support of this effort as required and maintain said clearance throughout duration of support of this effort.
  • Possess and maintains a valid state driver’s license.
  • Possess excellent work ethics, verbal and written communication skills and be detailed and accurate in performing all administrative and routine functions.
  • Be able to work in an environment that is fast paced while completing multiple tasks and meeting stringent timelines; to include ability to work independently without direct supervision.
  • Be able to write correspondence in a military format, when necessary, such as correspondence using the Army Writing System in accordance with AR 25-50.
  • Proficiently use MS Office application software to maintain data and submit reports of varying types and formats via internal management control databases, spreadsheets, and other reporting tools in a variety of program application software.
  • Be willing to attend and satisfactorily complete, required training associated with job responsibilities.
  • Crosstrain with other contracted positions to fill in during absences.
  • Maintain a clean workspace.
  • Be capable of lifting and carrying a minimum of 50 lbs. unassisted.

Responsibilities

  • Controls the efficient flow of goods, services, and information between points of origin through customer placement to meet customer requirements.
  • Ensure that customer service and time objectives are achieved within existing financial constraints to meet marketing and financial objectives.
  • Ensures the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistics processes, such as the replenishment system, data interchange systems, demand management, electronic data systems administration and related functions.
  • Build relationships with strategic customers through logistics initiatives.
  • Integrates learning from customers, competitors, operating entities, distribution, transportation, customer service, other industries, industry groups, and professional training to continuously improve competitive position.
  • Enter data into multiple databases or spreadsheets.
  • Ensure consistency and appropriate cross-referencing for both newly entered and previously entered data.
  • Retrieve data and use data to respond to a variety of Customer and vendor inquiries.
  • Perform research to determine reasons for patterns of transaction errors and failures.
  • Conduct extensive searches for information pertaining to supply transactions and patterns; assemble retrieved information into different formats to meet different requirements; for example, status reports, unmet Customer needs, and other similar areas.
  • Maintain files in accordance with applicable Army, Navy, and Department of Defense (DoD) regulations.
  • The complete day-to-day logistical management of numerous items of clothing and equipment, for issue specifically to Special Operations Forces (SOF) personnel.
