Requirements

A Bachelor's Degree in a construction related field or Logistics and at least 2 years of experience in the construction related role, OR a combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of material control procedures and or shipping and receiving related experience preferred.
Capable of leading up to four Logistics Helpers and Logistics Specialist
Can communicate effectively with other team members to accomplish the goals of each project
Ability to perform advanced math skills rapidly and accurately
Evaluate information using measurable standards.
Can read and understand drawings, specifications and schematics.
Must have the ability to work cooperatively with others.
Must follow specific directions.
Repeat tasks of short duration according to a set procedure.
Work within standards of accuracy.
The employee is regularly required to sit and talk to hear.
The employee frequently is required to stand or walk for long periods of time, and use hands to reach for, handle and manipulate objects.
The employee is frequently required to climb and maintain balance on ladders and scaffolds while carrying tools.
Reach for, handle and grasp wires and hand tools.
Bend, crouch, stoop, kneel, work in small places, lift and carry objects weighing 50 pounds (frequently) to 75 pounds (occasionally).
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception; recognize slight differences in shapes or shading , and the ability to adjust focus.
Applicants must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Knowledge of material control procedures and or shipping and receiving related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversees the day to day movement of materials and equipment
Ensures the Logistic Specialists deliver necessary parts, equipment and other production necessity for field installations to flow in an efficient manner
Schedules and coordinates staging materials and equipment for field installations
Ensure inspection quality standards are met
Ability to maintain safety standards and working relationships with the team
Mentor and develop Logistic Helpers and Specialists
Coordinate with field supervision regarding material and equipment inventory
Prepare and maintain records for material and equipment control documents
Ensure standards and procedures are followed
Proficient computer skills
