Northrop Grumman Defense Systems currently has an opening for a Logistics Engineer (level 2). This position will be in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) program. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force’s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) discipline and 2 years of experience; 0 years with master’s degree. An additional 4 years of experience may be used in lieu of a degree.
Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years
Must be able to be successfully screened for Enhanced Security Clearances, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs
1+ year of experience in ICBM OR complex aerospace/defense systems

Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills
Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite - Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word
Logistics experience with MIL-HDBK-1388-B2 and GEIA-STD-0007
Experience with Raytheon EAGLE Database, PowerLog J or SLIC wave or equivalent
Experience with Teamcenter
Aerospace/ICBM maintenance or supply experience

Responsibilities

Perform logistics analysis and maintenance planning of the Sentinel platform
Review, analyze, prepare, and modify logistics product data Documentation (PTD) and related data in accordance with Northrop Grumman procedures
Using Product Support Analysis to identify, select, catalog and determine support material requirements and development of logistics data attributes and develop maintenance task analysis
Possess the ability to apply logistics engineering principles and complete assignments to support team schedules.
Provide support for modifications, reviews, and updates to any of the above existing lists
Attend and support meetings and conferences and perform other functions as directed
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, communications skills, be self-motivated, understand and exhibit a strong teamwork ethic and approach.
Work closely with other IPT’s (Integrated Product Teams), Design Engineering IPT’s, Configuration Management, Systems Engineering, and Technical Publication Writing teams.
