About The Position

Torch Technologies is seeking a Logistics Specialist/Engineer that performs and coordinates detailed analyses to ensure the integration of support considerations into the design process at Eglin AFB, FL. Responsible for complex components of programs. Evaluates design concepts to determine if concepts satisfy support requirements and the relative supportability of alternative concepts are incorporated. The candidate shall advise and assist with development of logistics planning documents to include, but not limited to Life Cycle Sustainment Plans, weapon system delivery and deployment plans (integrated and optimized across Development Support Manager production and delivery schedules and Support Production Manager/depot induction/modification plans and schedules), Integrated Logistics Support Plans, product support business case analyses, Depot Source of Repair/Source of Repair Assignment packages, and diminishing manufacturing sources plans, including research and identification of alternative components where required. Employ supply chain, program dashboards and other state of the art data analysis to ensure necessary level of asset visibility. Provide other logistics studies, analyses, and reports as required. As a Logistics Specialist/Engineer your duties include, but are not limited to the following: Provide the System Program Office (SPO) with Life Cycle Logistics (LCL) Subject Matter Expertise (SME) supporting acquisition and sustainment of the Weapon System. Provide expertise during design, development, test, and sustainment planning of acquired systems. The Contractor shall evaluate maintenance concepts, technical data development, support equipment, and automated test equipment design to ensure all aspects of product support are integrated between bomber/weapon systems. The Contractor will ensure supply, maintenance, and quality assurance are integrated into logistics and maintenance activities required to successfully field and sustain new systems. The Contractor shall prepare and present decision briefs to senior leaders, interface with and provides guidance to higher level managers throughout using commands. The Contractor will communicate with prime and sub-contractors for planning, coordination, and execution of LCL activities in compliance with directives, policy, and guidance to implement the most cost-effective means of sustainment during all stages of LRSO's life cycle.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree or 10 years of related nuclear cruise missile maintenance and loading operations experience.
  • Must have an active Secret DoW security clearance.
  • Must be eligible for a Top-Secret DoW security clearance.
