About The Position

This role is responsible for receiving, stocking, distributing, and managing supplies across Catawba Valley Medical Center (CVMC) hospital and clinics. The position supports operations in central receiving/storeroom, unit PAR stocking, OR case carts, and clinic supply coordination, ensuring safe, accurate, and timely materials handling for continuity of patient care. Employees are cross-trained and rotated through specialty areas for service coverage and professional development. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable MVR for roles involving vehicle operation.
  • 6+ months warehouse, inventory, or healthcare materials handling experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain, Healthcare, or related field.
  • Experience in healthcare receiving, stocking, or OR/clinic supply support.
  • Familiarity with Meditech Expanse MM, GHX/Nexus, and mobile inventory tools.
  • Knowledge of vaccine handling, cold chain, and UDI/lot/serial tracking.
