This role will oversee daily inventory management and logistics functions. Non-exempt role; Reports to Manager; Performs a variety of routine duties within established policies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 5+ years in logistics coordination, supply chain operations, or warehouse-adjacent roles
  • Experience supporting projects, maintenance, or industrial turnarounds
  • Import/export coordination experience with customs brokers and documentation
  • Site-based or industrial environment experience with competing priorities
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, customer service, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Extensive knowledge of DOT shipping regulations and procedures
  • Proficient with Google Workspace or related software
  • Proficiency with enterprise resource planning and computerized distribution systems
  • Post offer drug / alcohol screen, physical evaluation, and signed acceptance of the Turner Industries Drug, Alcohol and Contraband Policy
  • Comply with company and client job site safety requirements
  • Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily inventory management and logistics functions.
  • Verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments involving inventory.
  • Verify and record incoming merchandise or material and arrange for the transportation of products.
  • Prepare items for shipment.
  • Monitor inventory via an enterprise resource planning system or similar control system.
  • Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders, to route materials.
  • Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes.
  • Analyze inventory procedures.
  • Recommend updates and improvements to the logistics team.
  • Examine shipment contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
