About The Position

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for preparing shipping documents and goods for shipment, including proper packing and labeling. This role also involves receiving materials, checking shipments, and entering data into the computer system. Additionally, the position requires performing local pickups and deliveries, and ensuring adherence to U.S. and foreign government, foreign shipment, and trade regulations. The role utilizes the BE system for inventory transactions and shipments.

Requirements

  • High school degree required.
  • 1 - 3 years of related work experience.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, anything greater than 50lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare shipping documents and goods for shipment, including proper packing and labeling.
  • Receive materials, check shipments, and enter data into the computer system.
  • Perform local pickups and deliveries.
  • Ensure adherence to U.S. and foreign government, foreign shipment, and trade regulations.
  • Use the BE system for processing inventory transactions and shipments.
  • Operate and inspect Powered Industrial equipment.
  • Check material in and out of the BE System.
  • Enter the majority of transactions into the ERP system through a computer terminal.
  • Deliver materials to work centers as required.
  • Maintain inventory integrity.
  • Prepare products for shipment and load outgoing trucks.
  • Transfer boxed goods weighing up to 75 lbs with assistance.
  • Operate material handling equipment and ensure safety requirements are met.
  • Move incoming shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage and work areas and maintain records of locations.
  • Attend and be trained in Hazardous Waste Training (RCRA) EPA 265.16.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or as the situation dictates.
  • Follow prescribed safety guidelines in accordance with ORAFOL Americas Safety program; use required PPE.
  • Maintain an optimal level of product quality and adhere to ORAFOLs Quality Program.
