Requirements

  • High School required
  • 3-4 Years in shipping, receiving and warehouse operations
  • Must be highly safety conscious
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Outlook, Word and Excel required)
  • Proven people skills required, must have ability to work with others while effectively handling internal pressures. Strong customer focus.
  • Good Communication Skills (written and verbal)
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.

Nice To Haves

  • College Degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintains shipping documentation in line with company and DOT requirements/regulations.
  • Coordination of shipments between the Freight Forwarders, Carriers and shipping/receiving teams.
  • Works with Domestic and International Vendors in the coordination of shipping Material.
  • Create delivery notes for Shipments as per Sale Orders, Purchase Orders and Stock Transfer orders (Either domestic and/or international).
  • Work with Trade Compliance for certifications, export permits and required documentation
  • ship and generate Export documents for International Shipments
  • Work with TMS (Mercury Gate) to quote, arrange and track shipments
  • Schedule Carrier for pick up and loading of Outbound Shipments
  • Coordinating with Freight forwarder for shipment pickups
  • Ship RTV parts to vendor for repair and/or product shipments
  • Process RMAs on Customer Returns
  • Work with other departments/Groups to resolve shipping discrepancies and or issues
  • Work with Sales/Programs/Material Handlers on Customer Returns
  • Generate Hazmat documents
  • Comply with all applicable U.S. export control and security regulations.
  • Back up other members of the Department for Vacations and other times off
  • Other duties as required.
