About The Position

Eve International Logistics is a third-party logistics company focused on delivering fast and efficient supply chain solutions to customers. The Company was founded in 2017 and has experienced strong growth since its inception. EVE is located in the Lincoln Square neighborhood in Chicago, surrounded by several shops and restaurants. Please see below for more details on the position and apply if you are interested! The Logistics Coordinator prepares, routes and manages the company’s shipments. This includes reviewing shipment materials before distribution, collaborating with transportation providers to ensure prompt shipment pick-ups and deliveries, and monitoring shipments in progress.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in logistics-related software
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated understanding of the supply chain, including common obstacles and effective solutions
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple shipments at once

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
  • One year of customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and refer clients to the proper channels.
  • Review purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy.
  • Make special shipping arrangements as necessary.
  • Track and fix shipping errors.
  • Ensure that the quality of all services provided meet the required standards.
  • Develop processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
